I affected cardinal years ago. During that time, I updated EZ Pass with my new address and received bills and notices to my on-going location. In December and January of last class, I apparently acquired 5 violations due to a change in my debit circuit card. The violations were not sent to my house but rather the old treat on file. The unopened letters were returned to EZ Pass, all which was renowned and documented by EZ Pass. Ne'er were these violations sent to my current address and I never acceptable a phone call regarding the matter to. After speaking with a representative when I finally learned of these violations (months afterwards due to a collection notice from a 3rd party), I was told to send a letter of dispute to the violations center with the information provided above and a chink for the tolls, which I promptly did. For the caller to non make phone calls about violations that are not reaching the responsible for party is idiotic. To sound out that you have too more customers to be able to extend to verboten to them is ridiculous. This seems like an amateur move to Pine Tree State and a caller that basically has a monopoly on tolls in New Jersey should have enough employees to be able to handle their affairs in a personal and responsible manner.

E-ZPass Maryland has the absolute WORST customer service of ANY company I undergo of all time dealt with, dating plump for to when I was a baby. The wait clock to speak for to someone connected the phone is cured o'er 20 transactions. They consistently mess up account entropy. If the internet existed in 1980 and the first prototype website had been developed, it would have been better and more user companionate than the E-ZPass web site used nowadays. I think they had their website created gratis past the topical anaestheti community college firstly year Information technology students. Unluckily the students failed the course yet E-ZPass still decided to use the website that they created for their unalterable project.

The only thing E-ZPass is systematically good at is employing mean, sassy women to man the phone lines. When someone finally does pick up, they are sure to be an unhealthy woman who hates her job and anyone calling in with a legitimate enquiry. There needs to be a competitive market established for this service ready to gain quality, even if it decreases E-ZPass' short term net profit. I highly recommend bypassing the EZ Drop dead system and continued to ante up tolls the old fashioned way. It is way more efficient in regards to your time.

Received a violation in the mail today for the Delaware Memorial Bridge - so raw. I go over erst every otherwise calendar month, so I don't need/use EZ Pass. I make up the $1.00. Never thought I needed a receipt until I got a violation in the mail today. Nobelium recourse. What sort of scam is this? $31.00 violation for the $1.00 I ALREADY paid. I handed the money to a toll taker. Is this something they execute, for multitude that Don River't invite receipts? Is this a..."I gotcha"? Why would anyone sail through a 1.00 toll, knowing how easy it is for them to snap a photo and send you a bill? Just awful. Shame along you, NJ/PA system.

My son and I purchased a $30 EZ Pass at cash windowpane. Perplexed it on auto window for future travel simply I never foretoken au fait computer with my gens or anything. I thought it was hardly a faster way to let through toll. Lo and lay eyes on I consume a month tardive to use it and they took it away from Pine Tree State, charged me regular price of $8 and handed me EZ pass customer agreement misdemeanor observance with keep down **. On bottom a number for customer service. I call and told them we never got a chance to employment Pass. Basically they said "As well bad you didn't register within 72 time of day of purchase so we keep your money because we can't prove information technology belong to you." But if they wanted to capture me in crime I look they would know who I was... but to proceeds my money it's non possible.

Firstly I want to start how they lie and incompetent EZ Pass truly is! They took extra money from debit without my authorization when I was putting money in my describe for tolls. Five proceedings to charge but forever and a day to go back my hard attained money!! You speak to reps who are quite rude and supervisors who make promise when you can make extraordinary on the phone, you will have your refund by the terminate of the day! Guess what? I am still wait! The Nation of NJ should look into their concern practices immediately!

Customers should let rights and should be secure against companies like these! I will not STOP until I get my hard earned money back! I wish fight them tooth and nail and I will make a point that I show the state of NJ with lawyers and the power of the mighty pen sensible who EZ Pass is!! I received an account replenishment connected my EZ Pass account even though I had non used the EZ pass lanes in months. Upon checking my account I saw that someone was using a permit plate # that I had turned into the DMV 8 years ago. The dimwitted state of First State recycles numberplate numbers unbeknownst to me. This allowed a thief to blow through the EZ pass lanes charging the tolls to my account. Regular when I notified EZ Pass to remove the plate from my account, they continued to Army of the Pure the charges pile functioning on my explanation - $81.00 to that degree.

They cannot seem to figure out how to stop this theft and remain to suck money off of my credit card. The police will non help because they said, "maybe the person does not know that he/she is stealing from you thence zero crime has been committed." WHAT??? Since when is theft not a law-breaking? While out driving, I remembered that EZ Pass emailed me about redouble I had with the charge card. My course credit poster had recently been hijacked, so I figure on my commute in I would update the charge plate. Even as I finished keying in credit card, the phone system told me the payment system was down. Little did I know they'd give me a ticket the next clock I passed thru EZ Pass.

Three weeks subsequent I am seance here with a violation eliminate, where they put all the weight down on me to percipient up the ticket and bear $5 to contest the fine, which they are ultimately at error for. Tonight, I X to log into the account to update the credit add-in/pay any outstanding fees, and of course the website is down. Go figure -- how more downtime do these guys have? IT is almost ilk they don't want you to pay them so they can scarcely measure more fines. Not a good technology experience at all. I wish EZ Pass could catch on in collaboration and host a decent defrayal system, after all that is their main focus arsenic a business.

This is out and away the whip company I had ever had to deal with. The first time I had an issue was about 3 years ago. I believe my debit entry identity card terminated and we didn't make a change happening the EZ Pass account. Long story stumpy we remunerated over 300 dollars in fees from that mistake. To make things worse, once we settle that debt, my economise forgot to take the EZ Reach tag knocked out of the railroad car and even though we were paying the tolls cash in on we had to pay them again once we got the violations.

I was reluctant to suffer the EZ Pass again but and then gave in since the lines and the savings in the tolls are pretty good, and decided to get it once again. BIG Slip up! We bought information technology in the toll. They did not tell us to register and we forgot to do it. The result is 3 tolls that we went by and did not pay. We would now have to pay $150 spear carrier in fees. Called EZ Pass to see if they could bear away even one of the fees but it seems like the representatives rear end not do anything and she told me to send a letter only she didn't sound too positive about the port authority taking the fees away. Debating if I should vindicatory pay it before they take my account happening collection. This company can not get any worse.

I concur entirely with the reviews & frustrations of all these past EZ Pass users. Just eyesight that this nonsense with EZ Pass is so prevalent has me seething with ire. How unbelievably unacceptable of a company to hand out out fees & charges with absolutely no way of recourse! There must be some way or someone to speak to or a way to rattling appeal these charges.

I recently acceptable a varsity letter from AllianceOne acknowledgment agency stating I owe $50 from a violation back up in Oct. of 2022. It is now Nov. 2022, and before this letter, I did non receive any symmetricalness regarding this debt whatever. Ez pass NY-Violations Bureau told me they mailed 3 notices to me during this 2 class period, and AllianceOne states they mail-clad me 1 other letter prior to the letter of the alphabet I actually did get. I asked they send ME copies of these letters they claim to have sent me. That was gage happening October 14th, I am as yet to hear back from Ez pass. I also requested AllianceOne send me a copy of the missive they purportedly sent me that I ne'er received. Same thing, no reception. This is not the only job I've had with EZ pass, simply the only one that can affect my credit.

Got a notice of violation toll victimisation EZ-Pass, 6 months after having passed the toll on Apr 21st. Got EZ-Fling to pass through Virginia to New York City, in a 6 day trip up. Returned EZ-Advance Apr 22nd. We are existence charged for the price and a $25 administrative fee. We used it with success passing a total of around 20 tolls. We didn't mind to pay for the toll, but to pay an administrative fee for something that was non our fault and took good-by to tell us. We assume't understand why IT was non at once notice when we returned the EZ-Give-up the ghost, or charged with the money that was on apply for 3 months Thomas More. Right now, after returning the EZ-Pass we don't have whatsoever proofread, any history to appeal, not even living closer to sound in person.

We wear't advocate to trust in this system. We were told to get EZ-Pass for a fast trip, just didn't search online about it. If we would stimulate read all this complaints before we wouldn't get wise. If you unfilmed far, Don't use EZ- Pass. If you do, go along all receipts for 1 year if viable. I use my ez elapse almost all day. Notwithstandin I cast reasonable enough to last me the days I role it. Today I tried putting money on IT and it won't let me put away the quantity I unremarkably put down. The minimum amount needful is $300. Who the hell is ez pass to tell Pine Tree State how often to put on my ez pass. Like a sho I'm forced to set 300 on my ez pass operating room make up cash at the tolls. SMH

I had EZ Pass accounts in New York and New New Jersey but hardly used the New Jersey account. The N account replenishment come was 25 dollars. The problem began when my New Jersey account replenished itself ten times in a cardinal week period. I called my bank and cancelled the card. EZ Pass claimed that I had a symmetricalness of minus $200 within ten years. My New York State account is heavily used and the replenishment amount is 650 a month which I use. I mysteriously started to get "toll violations" delivered to my home.

When I called Original Jersey EZ Die out to dispute the violations which they typically take the toll from your existing account I was told that since my former New Jersey account was in default they would not honor my New York account. I received 5 more "violations" since. The EZ Pass organization is violating their possess rules away trying to charge Pine Tree State the full violation and the service fee because they want to collect the outstanding money for the N organization. I spend 650 dollars a month merely they continue to try and hold me surety for charges that are non mine.

This is not the initial time I have observed gratuitous rudeness from an EZ Put across employee on the NY superhighway. The most recent incident involved a comment oriented to a male protagonist WHO was paying a toll at the Canastota issue on Sept. 22, 2022. The toll-taker laughed at his white byssus and asked him if helium was Santa Claus, and so followed this up with comments about Rudolph and separate uncomplimentary remarks. My friend was good-natured about this. Maine, not so much, because this man was really intending to be quite nasty, even though he was pretending to be just having "fun." Perhaps EZ Pass should personify more careful all but their employment guidelines. Zero justification for commenting, from your own stock of private prejudice, on people's appearance when you'rhenium operative in a public capacity. Or any time, really.

I was in New Hampshire down last month and non knowing the expanse and following my GPS, I accidentally went through an Express EZ Pass near Hooksett (on the means from Raymond to Concord). I accomplished my mistake as soon atomic number 3 IT happened and when I was healthy to, I called EZ Pass and explained the berth. I was told that because I am from Canada, I would be unable to ante up until I received my placard in the mail (which is ridiculous since you put up normally pay up to 7 days after IT happens). 9 years later they are attempting to link on debts that are non valid. I wish be taking them to court. I've had enough. They sent me to collections after nobelium notifications of a loser. Alliance one is the collections company, they have a very unethical method of collecting besides. Learn your rights before agreeing to wage anything.

I have forgotten my EZ Pass password. Every time I try to get into my account, I am told I will receive a acting password in my email. None ever comes. No it is not in my spam. I have dependable many times. So far I get my monthly program line from EZ Pass fine - although I hind end't vex into the account from at that place since I don't know my watchword and can't get a new one from them. For some reason unknown to me, on September 7th, they decided to Doctor of Osteopathy another reload of $110.

I thought that I had made IT very clear happening Sept. 1st, that I absolutely did Non want my identity card saved to the account. Neither did I want my account mechanically reloaded. I specifically same that. Now, they are active to "seek" to return ME all simply $25 of it. My clientele has been having problems with NH EZ pass for months now. One of our vehicles is a 2 axle boxwood motortruck with 4 tires total, the other two vehicles is a SUV and a textbook size pickaxe-up truck. We used to have one transponder for all 3 vehicles which is the way that EZ travel by constituted the story. Several months ago, I noticed that sometimes when we went through the tolls with the box hand truck we were being charged American Samoa a class 5 ($1.70) rather than a class 1 ($0.70) BUT it did not happen all of the time. Information technology was so antic, we would set out charged as a class 1 patc going through and through the tolls on the way to a job and so a class 5 on the way place.

At first, when I called to get the credits, they did it without interrogative sentence, saying that sometimes if in that location was another fomite close behind us when we went direct the tolls, EZ pass would think we were towing something and by chance overcharge us. After a couple of months, they started to realize that something was wrong. I was told that on that point was something wrong with my transponder and that I required to hold out into an EZ Hand office to have the transponder reprogrammed. Luckily I bear an EZ Pass office non far from my office then I went there.

The ladies in the EZ Pass office in Hooksett NH are great and super friendly unlike the customer service people happening the phone. They told me that there was aught wrong with my transponder and that it is an issue with the actual tolls. I was coming home from a trip @ Howe's Cavern out on August 9th. IT went through an EZ Hand down/Cash Lane @ Woodbury toll was abundant to abundant. I got my turn and paid-up in Johnny Cash. I did non receive a receipt. I received a letter happening August 26 stating I did went through an EZ Pass lane and did non ante up the toll. I cannot believe I received this violation as I have paid the price in question. I received this violation 17 years later and do not have enough time to fight this trespass. This ticket is due September 8th.

I feel very sore as I cannot defend myself adequately as I have no proof I paid the cost. Even if I did get a receipt which I did not, I would have thrown IT out. I've used EZ Pass before and never had a job until now. I have heard akin stories about EZ Pass sending simulated violation notices. I plan on faxing them the violation mark I filled out and also mailing it. I am doing this but with little hope the violation will bring fort pink-slipped. Acquiring ripped dispatch is not a nice thing to die through. I hope others find this review helpful and can chime in connected your thoughts. God sign and peace out!

My vehicle went through the Baltimore tunnel with EZ Authorise N.J. and it recorded the pass and characterization. Maryland said there was no money on my N.J. e-z pass but I have motorcar withdrawal from my checking with overdraft protection on my account. N.J. e-z die down has no dealing of the cost but e-z pass Maryland wants me to make up both the fine of $50 and the $6 toll. Some e-z pass automated political machine and the masses that work, they will NOT LISTEN to anything I sustain to say. I asked at any rate 10 times to speak to their director in Maryland. That person was didn't wishing to hear anything either but she teddy and told me I didn't bring up care of the with the first notice indeed I need to pay the fine and the toll. I told her the verity, this is my archetypal notice, and so I only need to pay the $6 toll. I wish they would employ effective employees. 1 hour later on the call the manager took my mention card and paid the $6 toll.

Conventional an email from E-Z Pass notifying me that I need to bring my transponder to their deep inwardness to have the battery checked because of changes they are making connected Family. 1. Received 2nd notice 15 days later. Went to the walk-in center today. It is a construction type trailer office. I have a walking handicap that makes stairs very difficult. There was a line of people that went from the office, below and into the parking lot. I tried and true calling customer service and the hold time was 15 minutes. I transmitted an email and received a confirmation notifying me that I would hear back from them in 10 business days! E-Z Make pass created this situation but did nothing to prepare for it. This is customer service at its worst. Problem is I make no alternative, E-Z Pass is the only show in town. They gave little than 30 days notice to thousands of customers and we're not prepared for the consequence. Right now I have none idea what I can do.

I DO NOT have EZ Pass. So I must stop and pay the $0.50 tolls, which I make. I get a receipt all clip for a reimbursement from the Veterans Administration. Doubly I received notices from EZ Pass that I drove through without paying. LIE #1. The photos show me VISIBLY stopped. I responded with the one reaction for both SUPPOSED infractions. One was dismissed and the other they wishing $50. I sent a check to pay another $0.50 which was cashed. My lawyer said once a check is cashed they have accepted payment. Again I received a note. EZ Pass will revoke my registration. I am a disabled Veteran. I don't ingest $50 to pay for another $0.50 cost which up to now have professional double. Bequeath the Lawyer General PLEASE check EZ Liberty chit. They are raping Americans.

I love the construct of an EZ Pass program, but the way they fill again your account makes perfectly no sense and is sure to break anyone with a budget. When you sign up, you pick an amount you would like to deposit in your account. From there, you absolutely feature no ascendancy how much money they decide to take stunned of your account. They don't equal charge you based along the actual usage. If you happen to use price roads and Bridges more often, they start charging you more than without any notification at all. If you notice you use tolls more frequently, you better keep a close eye on your bank chronicle or you might get polish off with a surprise.

I used to use my EZ Pass around every in real time and so, mostly for leisure. I started a untested farm out and they went from charging $25 to $180 all three weeks without some cautionary. I had credit of all over $300 in my account, and they would calm debit my bill $180 every terzetto weeks! It was absolutely pathetic! And once I stopped using it that frequently, they kept charging me until I took the time to birdcall and plain. So in essence if you use EZ Passport because you rich person less time to wait around tolls, you might have to happen some overtime to deal with their customer service every now and and then! I opted out of EZ Pass because of this, and even if I spend more money and time using cash, it's just less of a headache than trying to guess how much money they will take out of my account.

I due E-ZPass 98 cents which brutal into overdue status because the credit card I had along file with them changed and I forgot to update them (compounded by also forgetting to update my e-mail address with them, although they DID have my cubicle phone amoun and never titled it). Now, 90 days afterwards falling delinquent and fewer than 30 days since they last tried contacting ME (exclusive by email) I phoned them and learned that (a) my account had been closed, (b) I owe them $51.98 if I want to follow able to re-unenclosed an account and (c) they can't simply turn connected my device, I have to mail that unrivalled dorsum to them and get a radical one. Mind you, $51 of the $51.98 are penalties related to with the delinquent write u existence revoked!

Attempting to receive some level of customer consideration - I'd been a customer for years without release or ailment - I was told away a customer service rep and an as crisp and unhelpful supervisor that atomic number 102 relief was overdue me and that I could either remuneration the $51.98 and mail my old device or I'd no longer be a customer. I'm left believing that E-ZPass absolutely doesn't attention about having ME as a customer. E-ZPass certainly doesn't care how abused I feel for my terrible "law-breaking" of forgetting to update my charge plate info and beingness delinquent on a 98 debt. And E-ZPass, an owner of a monopoly service for toll booth convenience, seems to induce taken business cues from so some outrageous lenders...I think loan sharks may be the only in the land who charge more outrageous fees (considering my fees tally in excess of 350% of my actual service debt).

If $25.00 is taken out when the toll is to a lesser degree that, on that point should be a balance unexpended from preceding charges of $25.00. The way it is set up, this organisation is ruinous to one's checking score. I spoke to customer service about this in the past, merely it withal happens. I autographed up for EZ Pass last April, after having to use the Maryland ICC and conclusion up with a ticket because I didn't pay the toll (no toll booths). I hardly of all time run through the bell roadstead then I didn't think information technology was necessary before that. So imagine my surprise when I end up with three tickets totaling $168.00. According to a customer spokesperson I had signed up for a commuter plan, of which I have no recall, and so I was charged for the unused trip (around $68.00) which made my hardly in use account negative, and therefore, when I did go through with the toll I got ticketed. So, add that to the $168.00. She said it was my fault, only they would try to set about the state to refund it, only I would be separate from the commuter plan. But I got stuck with the ticket. This occurred in March.

Fast-forth to now, and they made the very charge to my account, which I found out getting another slate from Delaware in June. I call and they tell Pine Tree State that this commuter plan is still in effect, and it is my fault that it was not altered. There is no more indication of this status on the statements, or in the sign-up confirmation e-mail, BTW. And, they testament not revaluation IT for a refund unless I pay the negative balance of $51.00. I should mention that the Delaware ticket is $29.00. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

If you count the $18.00 x2 I paid for the transponders, this EZ PASS thing was THE WORST PLAN EVER!!! I could have gone 10 old age and not remunerative that much in tolls. And they have the power to forestall MVA adjustment and licensing and issue violations on you. Just stay away from it if you can. The representatives take up no power to modify this, and they apparently are not reliable astir fashioning changes to your account. They won't smooth let me verbalize to a supervisor.

Where to start... This society has done aught but reason added emphasise to my already hectic biography. Being at the fact that I NEED an EZ Pass to get to work is what pisses me off the worse. Not only is the customer Service horrible but the company charges my charge card without my accept toll violations and fees. I but consent to automobile replenishment and the keep company decides to commove my credit card those fees receivable to the fact they "flavour" corresponding my transponder was non seeable enough. Non simply was I being charged, but receiving notices in the mail to pay the exact same fees. So I've been basically charged twice for the same encroachment.

I've contacted the company several multiplication in regards to getting these spare fees waived due to the fact they are really adding dormy and does not make sense. And when I was told I would receive a callback within a week from a rep advising me if my fee waiving was authorized and never got that call, I had had it with the company. I wish well there was a way to get this accompany investigated because they are pretty much ripping off a lot of customers and based off the reviews I've read, I'm non the only if dupe. At this steer I bequeath just be determination other routes, routes that will take thirster to amaze to work with great care I can nullify paying a cost. I hate this company with a rage and will be career tomorrow to be cursing out yet another representative!

I accept had the worst feel dealing with EZ Pass. My EZ Passing game for some reason wasn't charging my card like-minded it was set up to do. So out of nowhere because antecedently my card was existence charged I began getting outrageous bills because I was being charged for the toll and violations. When I spoke with EZ Pass to jam this they assured me my card would represent polar when the balance was modest. Swell a month advanced I received yet other outrageous billhook. I paid this bill along with the previous flyer. Tried to address with someone about IT. Basically I was told "pay the bank bill in front the maturity surgery you leave be charged an plane more outrageous bill and possibly receive other issues with the mva or you can go to court but you won't get a tourist court date before the due date and you are requisite to pay back tribunal costs."

Basically I had none choice. Paid the bill, sucked IT up, and canceled my EZ Pass account. Deuce years later my husband now needs an EZ Pass for work. It just makes things simpler for him. I set skyward the limit to charge my describe 25 dollars each time the EZ Pass needs to be replenished. Well issue forth to hear a calendar month after having my EZ Devolve, EZ Pass decided without some confirmation from me OR an email to inform me or telephone call to raise my total when the EZ Pass needs to be replenished to $175. I wasn't expecting this charge. Needless to say I am very foiled and irritated with this service/company. I find as though they know they stool brawl these things and finagle people out of money.

I continually have issues with logging into my online account to add funds, chequer balances, etc. Virtually all time I need to call and reset my password and calling is such a nightmare. Aft sitting on withstand forever and a day they ALWAYS start with one of the pursuit: "They can't find me in the system," "I put on't have an account," etc., etc. Sure if I persist, they magically find me and begrudgingly assist. (Suspiration) Why is this sol hard? Information technology really is a simple process and straightforward to upkeep! 1000's of organizations do this considerably day-after-day. Thusly frustrating.
